Here's something to think about. I'm also in a "top 3", and I've seen being a legacy work against girls. When we know a girl is a Legacy at another "top 3 " on pref night she sometimes gets placed lower on our list (even if we want her and like her a lot) because we just assume she's going to pref her legacy sorority and we don't want to waste a spot and risk losing another great girl (who's not a legacy somewhere). Have felt badly more than once over the years. Then again, we are talking about girls who have made it to pref night and been invited back to at least 2 top, sometimes 3 "top tier" sororities. Legacy doesn't mean much until after 3rd round in my opinion, and then it's not always a good thing.
