I know because I'm IN a top sorority and I have friends in the other 2 top sororities. If a girl is normal/cute enough and is a legacy she's gonna be picked over someone who's not a legacy and is cute/normal. There are definitely girls in my pledge class that wouldn't be in my sorority if they weren't legacies. I love them and think they're great but they got cut from all the other top tiers except my sorority.
