- BRING COMFORTABLE SHOES!!! I cannot stress this enough. You will walk miles all over campus going from party to party, and you definitely don't want to do that in heels. I suggest bringing Uggs or something to save your feet. - Keep your schedule, book, and nametag they give you at the Recruitment kickoff with you at all times! It really helps so you know the location of the parties, your group schedule, and where each sorority will be. - Do some research beforehand! Go to Miami's Fraternity and Sorority Life page and look at the minimum GPA's each chapter requires, their philanthropies, what they're involved in, etc. See what you're interested in! It helps to spark conversation. - Parties are very repetitive and you will be asked the same questions a million times, like "What dorm do you live in?", "Where are you from?", "What are you involved in on campus?", and "What's your major?". Be prepared for that and try not to get too frustrated, it's our first time meeting you and we want to get to know you. - Have fun and keep an open mind! Remember that this will be your home for the next 4 years. HAPPY RUSH! We're so excited to meet all of you!
