PNMs who are browsing this site: It's important to keep this inn mind to keep yourself from being too heavily influenced by things like rankings on this website-- girls defend their sororities. There is nothing wrong with this. People act like it's a crime to think your sorority is great--- it's not. Everyone is biased. Everyone. If one fraternity is listed really low, but your friend's older brother is in it and he's a sweet guy, you're gonna find yourself defending it to some extent. When people say bad things about your best friend's sorority, you'll argue against it at the top or your lungs. This is life. There is nothing wrong with being biased, but keep in mind that this website is 100% bias. It's people's opinions. This isn't high schooll anymore, so go out and figure out what you think instead of relying on what you read here. I'm not saying completely ignore all of this. Social status is something you might want to consider during rush, but make it a maximum of 10% of your decision. Realistically, most of you will ignore me, but i thhought i would just throw this out there. You will make friends anywhere. You will meet cute guys at any frat party. You will form your own biases, and before you know it, you will be reading this website and getting riled up over what someone said about your sorority. Circle of life, basically.
