Sprite dates are nice because they get some of the pre rush jitters out. You get to go meet the different chapters without any real pressure to impress anyone. They are good to go to because sometimes girls will remember that they liked you during the sprite date as you go through rush, and that can help you out a lot. Honestly, they're not that important but there is no harm in going to them. It would definitely be worth your time. As for attire, it's pretty casual. You definitely don't want to overdo it. Just wear something that you would wear out to dinner with your boyfriend's parents or whatever.
