Looks matter So do connections. Who you know makes an impact in which sororities take you. Sorority is a huge time commitment It’s a great way to meet new people It DOES increase your party life style Try COR! It’s a great place to meet new people and create second chances if you really feel like you don’t fit. Highly recommend it. At Miami, you do feel more connected if you’re in Greek life. It’s harder if you’re in a relationship since a lot of socials are about which sororities get paired with which frats. Sorority is expensive. I haven’t met a single person in Greek life who isn’t at least a little exclusive You don’t have to love your sorority but you shouldn’t hate it. You can meet life long friends if you prioritize it. If you’re in a sorority, live in the dorms, it’s the best way to get to know your PC. Be open and welcoming with the people in your PC. It’s creates an atmosphere of belonging. It isn’t as “Women Supporting Women” as I thought it would be. It’s really sad to see us tear each other down over superficial things like rankings and looks. We are so much more than that. I hope it’ll change but I don’t think it ever will. Rankings are so toxic. I wish I’d never listened to them, I probably would’ve picked a different sorority if I hadn’t. Guys when we say trust the process we mean it.
