After all of the late night deliberations, blowing my hair out 4 times a weekend and smiling until it literally hurt, I'll be the first to say rush is stressful. I'm a sophomore. I'm in a middle tier sorority. We aren't guaranteed anything but we're not content to settle either, and being the youngest PC during rush is probably the most pressure I've been under this year. After all of our hard work (tears, lectures, long conversations with CAB) we finally have our pledge class. They're enthusiastic, really nice girls who seem just as glad to be with us as we are to have them. I'll admit, I check this site a lot. It's entertaining and I'm kind of intrigued by the mean girls thing going on here from time to time. Despite the fun this sometimes is (we all like to laugh at the people getting picked on until it's us) I've honestly come to the conclusion this site is not worth it. I would never want my babies to find their self worth based on these idiotic tier systems and discount the sisterhood we ALL worked so hard I maintain and enhance during recruitment. Stop picking on AXO. Stupid crap like that obvious spam is the reason I'm leaving this site for good. I went on and on about how our Greek life isn't as catty as some other schools' when I was talking to PNMs during rush. I really mean that. I hope everyone will consider at least dialing it down a bit and thinking about how you'd feel if it were your biological sister's chapter getting torn apart in a post or comments.
