Subject:
Sorority Rankings 25 years ago

Poster Message:
My niece is rushing a sorority this year so I thought I'd see what's happening in the sorority world of Miami 25 years since I've graduated -- WOW, some things are the same, but some have apparently really changed! I was at Miami in the early/mid-90s, and these were the tiers/rankings from then that I think were the general opinion. The biggest shock for me is Alpha Phi... they were total middle tier in the 90s! I guess they've changed. Also, Zeta and Phi Mu were not very strong, and Tri Delt was quite good. All that said, these rankings are really based on looks and level of partying, which count very little toward success in real life. I wasn't in the #1 tier, and that never bothered me. I stayed true to my personality and picked the best fit to find real friends, which was my goal. That's the advice I offer my niece and anyone here! Mid 90s Rankings (in order): Top Tier: AXO, DG, Pi Phi Mid-Top: Theta, DZ, Kappa, Tri Delt Middle: Gamma Phi, Fuzzie, Alpha Phi, Chi O Low-Mid: AOPi, ADPi, KD Low: Zeta, AEPhi, Phi Mu, Phi Sig (just started)
