Subject:
WHAT PNMS SHOULD KNOW BEFORE RECRUITMENT

Poster Message:
For sororities, there is a very obvious top 4 at Clemson. It does not make a difference in how other people will judge you BUT it does make a drastic - and I mean DRASTIC - difference in your social life and first semesters if you make it into one of these 4 or not. Unfortunately Clemson does not have a strong Greek system like an SEC school would (ex. Bama), so once you start dropping off from these 4 during recruitment, you'll find that the effort for the rest to try to match their own social presence and connections just isn't there. It's sadly structured vey much like high school. If you do want a shot at the opportunity to have a significantly more eventful first two years, you MUST come with either legacy, several recommendation letters, or clout. Not being that person, a pretty face did not get me far. I did not submit any letters or legacy before going through rush. Though I still ended up in a sorority I love, it has definitely impacted my experience and beginning memories here - and you can only drop a sorority after so long. It doesn't matter if you think you don't have the looks or if you don't know absolutely anyone here. Submit letters - and THANK ME LATER! If this post gets taken down you know why.
