Not every 'popular' NPC group is chosen only for 'the best' campuses. There have been times when one or more of 'the most popular' NPC groups have presented on a prestigious campus and lost-out to a 'lesser' NPC. Is Chico currently open for extension? NPC groups desiring to colonize can make a decision to present by looking at prior on-campus presence, campus pnm numbers and/or interest groups that have formed, campus courses and levels of study, verified campus accreditation, availability and interest of local NPC alum support, and housing/financial support needed/available for a new chapter. It isn't unheard of for a more popular NPC group to ask to present at a campus like Chico. The final decision for any group's arrival is in the hands of those voting after the presentations.
