I have heard IFC cannot block another fraternity from forming or trying to join as per their own IFC bylaws. If they do try to block, they risk there own IFC/university & national recognition. A group of my friends are discussing creating a Beta interest group. My uncle was one here at Chico. When he visited, he said the Greek system has been flipped around around since the 90s.
