<strong>Subject:</strong><br />good luck to all pnms!<br /><br /> Poster Message:
today is the day! sorority recruitment starts today and i would just like to remind all PNMs that no matter how stressed you may get, no matter how much disappointment you may feel if you get dropped by your top, no matter how awkward a moment or conversation in a house may be, your sorority and the outcome of these four days do not define you. every single chapter has something to offer! please take a breath and remember that you will make it through the week, and everything will be okay. even if you receive a bid from the house that you didn't pref, or got called back to houses you were less excited about, you were still chosen to be there for a reason: the women of that chapter saw something in you. sometimes women who go through recruitment may feel like they don't belong during bid day, or even the days or weeks after, and that is perfectly okay. some women may feel instantly at home within their chapter, and that is great too! as mentioned above, every single chapter has something to offer, and amazing, smart, incredible sisters who believe in you! the best way to go through recruitment is with an open mind. disregard any preconceived notions and stereotypes about the chapters (especially ones you read on here), and focus on the conversations you have and the women of that chapter. every person wants something different out of their sorority experience, so follow your heart and choose your rankings carefully every day. the panhellenic community has brought me some of the most dedicated, intelligent, ambitious, and lovely people i have ever met. go through recruitment with an open mind and heart, and i hope you will find the same love and support that i have found. panhellenic love!
