The sorority system here is outstanding. Most people could fit into almost any of the sororities, because within the sororities there are a really diverse group of women. That said, there are stereotypes that may or may not be true. I will give you the positive of each sorority 1) Alpha Omicron Pi - Really grounded ladies who make good decisions about their present and their future. They are a tight group who really care about academics and sisterhood. 2) Alpha Phi - Very popular, outgoing, friendly, generally good looking, has a lot of fun and really enjoys the college experience. 3) Delta Delta Delta - Very strong middle house. Has a lot of diversity as far as "types" of women. Academic, feet on the ground, classy, has a good time. 4) Delta Gamma - Very involved in campus activities, outgoing, hard-working, strong alumni presence. 5) Delta Zeta - Academically very inclined, very achievement oriented, mostly attractive, has strong ties to good internships and jobs. 6) Gamma Phi Beta- Very well liked by certain fraternities, love to party, outgoing, the "typical sorority" experience. 7) Sigma Kappa - very diverse, laid back, fun, chill and down to earth. 8) Zeta Tau Alpha - new (lots of opportunity to get in on the ground floor of things), very diverse, strong sisterhood, strong philanthropy. No matter who you are or what your gig is, you can probably find a good fit here. Don't just go by stereotypes. Good luck in rush or COB!
