I was dropped by all the sororities. I can't begin to tell you how much it hurt and what a blow it was to receive a phone call from the Rho Chi telling me that I had no invitations...I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach. A few weeks later I happened to run into the rho chi on campus and she said she couldn't understand why everyone dropped me. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't attend one of the "good" high schools. If that's the case, then I was judged by where I came from and not by who I am.
