It’s a requirement to have a minimum 2.0 gpa in order to participate in recruitment at csulb. Each chapter sets their own gpa for active members, it’s usually 2.5 overall gpa, but depending on the organization’s bylaws it can be required to have a higher gpa. I personally wish that they would work with potential new members who have lower gpas ; instead of rejecting them and offering no bid . They can always offer them a bid (conditionally)and focus on helping members who don’t do well academically reach their potential. College is important and grades as well. Not everyone likes school , excels academically, or is at the same level .
