Any new chapter will need to have alumni support when they colonize here. For sororities, I believe that Alpha Chi Omega, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta would be logical choices as most have chapters at local universities including: USC, UCLA, LMU, UCI, and a larger pool of alumni in the area. Phi Mu, Kappa Delta, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Phi Sigma Sigma and Alpha Phi Epsilon have limited chapters in Southern California and are mostly based in other parts of the country. For fraternities: Lambda Chi Alpha, Alpha Tau Omega, Beta Theta Pi for the same reasons as the sororities: local chapters and a strong alumni network to support any new colonies.
