GPA has nothing to do with how academics person is. If a sorority has a super high GPA it means that the sorority is filled with women who major in 1) Communications 2) Criminal Justice 3) Theater Arts. High GPA often means women take easy classes and don't challenge themselves or get out of their comfort zone. If you do go through rush, I suggest meeting the women and getting a feel for who they are as people and not just meaningless numbers (i.e. GPA, bank account, weight etc.)
