I’m not blaming my suicide bid on the Greek system. I like the way it works I just believe that we should have more options. I know many girls felt certain sororities did not fit their values and the ones that did dropped them. They stuck it out as long as they could but why go into a house you know you don’t fit into? One that you couldn’t keep a conversation with any of the new members, and just felt it was forced. And that is coming from a multitude of girls I spoke to, not just my opinion. Many sororities are already at quota and can’t even open up for spring recruitment unless someone quits or goes alumn. By opening a new sorority it will give more girls a reason to rush because their are more options for them.
