Upperclassmen feel free to chime in Honestly I know a decent amount of freshman will come to this site looking to find the "best" sorority or fraternity, but as most of you will assume, these official ranking posts are pretty much always biased. Like, do you really think someone is gonna make their own chapter look bad. Also, some people may have more friends in a chapter so ofc they'll rank them better. If you really want to get the most you can out of greek life, get put and get to know people in different chapters before making your decision. You can be in a supposedly top or supposedly bottom house but the fact is if you dont feel like you fit in or vibe with the majority of the people there, you arent gonna enjoy your time as a greek, or may even give up on greek life in general. Also, just because your friend is in a chapter doesnt necessarily mean youll be a good fit, or that you cant hang out if you're in a different chapter. In fact, most of the time as a greek, you'll end up with other greeks in your classes that you'll be good friends with. A major part of greek life is networking, so why limit yourself to just one group of greeks. Overall csulb has a pretty good greek community, and even if you hear good/bad things about some chapters, just remember that not even in the chapter is the same person, and almost no one is unbiased when it comes to their opinions about a chapter.
