Tri Delta and Alpha Phi used to be the top two sororities at Long Beach, They were always ahead of Delta Zeta. DZ always came in 3rd behind them. When DG came on then they would fight it off for third place with DZ. Then it was ZTA and Sigma Kappa. When AOPI came on they were never a high ranked sorority. It took Gamma Phi Beta a few years to move up to comoete Against Alpha Phi Tri Delta and DG.
