A Cal State University is NOT just for local students. Some of you are confusing this with a junior college like Long Beach City is designed to meet the needs of the local population. Students from Orange County, the South Bay, the San Fernando Valley, the rest of California and the nation should not be excluded due to their zip code if they have the GPA and test scores to qualify for admission.
