I don't know if anyone noticed, but I feel like there's more students on campus this year. I hate the fact that President Conoley believes that everyone should be admitted into this school. It's really devaluing my degree. Long Beach admits a majority of students with very low GPAs and reject those with 4.0s. I joined Greek life because I want to be that 15% that wants to actually be involved on campus. A lot of these students with low GPAs are going to this college because they simply "have to" in order to get a job. This school shouldn't be a commuter school when we have national attention. We should accept the best and brightest students. Also, according to College Board, about 60% of students don't graduate within 4 years because of overcrowding. This is the reason why I joined Greek Life to separate myself from the disaster that President Conoley has created
