All of these "rankings" are fluid and have changed over the decades in more than one case. Sororities that used to do very well at recruitment have had years in which they have struggled for any number of reasons:Lack on interest in the Greek system, higher dues than other groups which excludes pnms, poor new member classes and other internal issues. On the other hand there are sororities that were once doing poorly at recruitment have rebounded to become strong houses at CSULB because their nationals have invested time, money and talent into strengthening their members. They've attracted new members and improved their situation.
