Chi O had a DEI issue with their nationals right before I started. Like half the chapter dropped because of it. (Google it and Mustang news has lots of info). Those issues have held them back. That said, last year seemed to be a decent fall rush for them. On the other hand, DG is pretty new to the cal poly, maybe 5 or 6 years? So they had some momentum at first but the last 2 years have trended down. Definitely not anyone’s first choice, which is what puts them below other tiers, in a pretty solid way. Neither of these houses are bad and have their own benefits. And I totally disagree with ^^ post about frat relations because while it is sort of true, frat relations matter for about a minute at Cal Poly and no one cares after that. The frat relations argument is what gives Greek life a bad name. No one cares. And if they do, they aren’t people you want to be around anyway.
