Subject:
sorority recruitment explained

Poster Message:
After each round, PNMs rank the houses they would like to see again. Houses do the same for PNMs. Based on a computer program, Panhellenic determines how many women can continue going to parties at each house. For example, if 90% of PNMs want to return to Alpha Beta, Panhellenic may only let Alpha Beta invite their top 50% If Delta Epsilon has 10% of PNMs wanting to return, they may be advised to invite every PNM registered for recruitment. This goes on every day and the sororities have no control over it. Yes, there are girls that the sororities really want and they rank them the highest, but the rest of it is so random. Don't take it personally! It's a matter of who you happen to be matched up with for a 5/10 minute conversation and whether you have something in common or hit it off. Your "score" could be really good but not as amazing as two girls who just discussed their mutual love of water color painting. ;) That's why you can't let this define you. There are amazing beautiful intelligent women in every house.
