sometimes in my life i get overconfident and make silly, overly emotional decisions that i later regret. to prevent this, i find that it helps to keep in mind negative qualities about myself. just little things to remember and use to knock myself down a few pegs when i start feeling too self-confident. anyway, OP you could do that with this post. just screenshot it now and save it, then in a few years it will hopefully embarrass you enough to help your decision making.
