Pretty sure that a LOT of varsity athletes end up going on to work low paying jobs when they don't get into the big leagues. I know plenty of people who have co-ops with Baine and Deloitte that are GDI (although plenty of the people who get these jobs are also affiliated with a fraternity- sometimes a "top tier" one).
