Anyone worth a damn at this school is either a varsity athlete or Greek or both. Those are going to be the students who end up making the most money, being the most successful and therefore giving back the most to the school. If Bud Peterson and his current administration continue to restrict and discourage Greek and social life in general, the school will have very little alumni support after the next generations of graduates. And this is clearly a pattern seeing as he completely eliminated Greek life at his previous school. The only solution is to replace "Bud" with someone less naive who realizes the real potential of the student population.
