<strong>Subject:</strong><br />cpc rush regulations<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Why is it that CPC puts so many rules in place during rush including restrictions on social media, promoting your sorority, what you can say during rush, and even talking to potential rushees? In my opinion this forces the rushees to either ask guys about sorority reps, or base their decisions off of incredibly restricted conversations (because we all know that a lot of sorority life has to do with booze, beds and boys). We've also been informed that rush will change in the next few years to not even feature the houses, but instead be in the student center. This will create a completely false atmosphere for the rushees. This is completely the wrong direction when it comes to providing an accurate idea of what each house is actually like and therefore the best got for the PNMs. So that begs the question, what is the point of all these restrictions? Just for the irrelevant houses to get a "fair shot"?
