Definitely agree, keep in mind that "top tier" really depends on what you want out of a sorority. My biggest tip is not to just look for people like you during rush but people you want to be more like and that inspire you. You will get into parties no matter what as a girl at tech so don't worry as much about connections for that but more about where you want to hang out everyday
