I'm a 3rd year girl from Atlanta and have close friends in different fraternities. The most important consideration for you is how you feel about your fellow pledges. They are going to be the ones who make or break your fraternity experience, not so much the older guys who are currently rushing you. Take a good look at the guys who you would be a pledge with. These are the ones you will be close with in the fraternity, and a handful of those guys will be your best friends, true brothers, to go through 4+ years at a hellishly tough school and will also be together beyond graduation. A smaller size class doesn't mean they aren't quality guys. IDK who you like, but I do know of one prominent fraternity on campus who limits their pledge classes to around 24 guys or less so they can focus on quality over quantity and have a much more cohesive brotherhood. Other houses reason that bigger = better and bid more guys to that end. The group you like would not keep you around if they didn't like you, and it would not do them any good to tell you they want to give you a bid when they don't mean it. As stated already: Trust your gut. Always go with your gut.
