So I ended up with only one house on pref night. I tried to keep an open mind all week but I got dropped by all the houses I liked and ended up with this one house where I hadn't had good conversations or clicked with any of the girls all week. I tried to keep an open mind during their pref ceremony but on the inside I was heartbroken because I just couldn't see myself in their house. My RC told me that if I signed the pref card I wouldn't be eligible to rush again for a full year. I decided to give them a chance and signed my pref card, so yesterday I got my bid from them. Yesterday I had never felt so alone or out of the loop. I still don't feel like I click with any of these girls. Looking at everyone's happy pictures from bid day is making me sad because it seems like everyone ended up in houses they love except for me. I don't know who to talk to about this because my roommate and other friends all got houses they love and I feel like I'm already missing out. Someone told me about COB and now I'm freaking out because I signed my bid card so I'm no longer eligible for it. Is this true? I wish I could go back and drop out of rush before pref so I could maybe COB somewhere else. This just isn't how I expected things to go at all and I'm feeling so lost and confused right now.
