Hey! So I really wanted to join a frat during fall rush but I decided to stop rushing due to time commitments. I definitely think I'm going to rush again in the Spring. So... I have just a few questions that I hope you guys can like help me with. 1) Do you have to drink/smoke to be get a bid/not get dropped by places like Pike, Pi Kapp, SAE, KA, etc.... 2) I am a vegetarian and I'm concerned that if I join, I may not be able to remain vegetarian because the houses force you to do some stuff during pledgeship, is that true? 3) Any tips on the overall rush experience? I don't know if I should go in with a certain attitude for frats or if I should be open minded and just chill? 4) Lastly, do people look down upon spring rushes?
