ADX and AOE are small, niche sororities focused on very specific membership requirements with a much different vibe. They are not mainstream. ADX is a Christian sorority and AOE is a professional sorority. If typical sorority life is not your thing then you could consider ADX or AOE. They have their own recruitment that takes place after formal sorority recruitment. Formal sorority recruitment is for the National Panhellenic Conference sororities. If you join an NPC sorority you will not be able to rush at ADX or AOE. Additionally, the new NPC sorority at Tech, Kappa Alpha Theta, will be coming on and recruiting after formal recruitment to establish their new chapter here. Go through formal recruitment and see what you think. You may find your home there - AXO, ADPi, AGD, AXD, ZTA, Phi Mu, APhi - but if not you could have one of the others as an option.
