Since there are so many new members why don’t we try to be positive :) Current members: share a fun memory from when you were a new member, something you enjoyed when talking to new girls during recruitment (not just the girls that joined your chapter) or a fun experience you’ve had with another sorority (don’t really have to say which one. something as simple as I celebrated my bday with my friends in 3 diff chapters or I had a great time at x philanthropy event) new members: a favorite memory from recruitment & joining your sorority (something as simple as going to your first mixer, getting to know your recruitment group, having a great convo with a chapter member even if you didn’t join that chapter!, decorations in a room you liked, etc) If you’re on this site I’m sorry you feel the need to check up on sorority rankings when you could be bonding w your new sisters, studying, sleeping, etc. but hey.. I’m here too so I can’t really judge. Let’s try to build up the Greek community rather than tear it down. It’s an important community to sm of us. In reality, we all have friends in other chapters and attend each other’s events, so stop acting like we hate each other or are better than each other. By doing this we are only pushing potential girls away. Be nice and remind new and current members why it’s a privilege to be part of a community like this at all :)
