There’s no real “rule” for what you have to wear (dress or jeans), the sororities get to pick how they want to represent themselves. Being dressier vs casual at open house doesn’t really mean anything in relation to how you (as a PNM) have to dress. Open house for PNMs should be a pretty causal low stress event, so don’t feel like you need to wear a dress just because some of the current members of a sorority you like are. You’ll see the same thing during recruitment. Some sororities might get dressed up earlier in the recruitment process, but you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable in what you’re wearing (ex: if it’s a more casual day for PNMs don’t feel bad if you walk into a room of girls wearing dresses and heels). If it’s a dressy day for PNMs sororities will 100% be dressed up, though. What it really comes down to is what their recruitment people decided to wear. Hopefully you aren’t confused anymore
