Why does everyone hate on local fraternities like KOT and Phi Chi so much? Or even national ones who aren't the biggest partiers? Yeah parties are great and all, but what is it going to matter 30+ years from now? It seems to me that these non-partying fraternities are doing better things than MOST other fraternities on campus. The people who think the big party fraternities are the best don't understand what it means to be a true fraternity. I guarantee if you were to ask any fraternities national board they would not say partying is what defines their fraternity, yet on GR that's all anyone cares about. I think credit should be given to the groups who actually care about their university and their fraternities image.
