Y'all may be laughing at SAE now but they're one of the largest and best national fraternities, and I would be surprised if other fraternities follow suit in the next few years. This is bad for all of greek life. This is most likely is a move to help keep nationals out of trouble with hazing lawsuits. However I'm sure most established and respectable chapters will continue to have an underground pledgeship even if they're "new members" on paper.
