@BPA That's not how it works. Panhellenic members have to decide that the campus needs another chapter. Then each sorority panhellenic rep would have to vote, with a majority voting yes. Then there are two possibilities. #1- All 3 sororities that have been on campus but closed (Delta Gamma, Kappa Delta, and Sigma Kappa) would be asked if they would like to come back. If more than one says yes, then they each make a presentation showing why they should be invited back. Panhellenic votes on which one to invite back, if they accept, a time period of colonization is decided on. #2- Baylor Panhellenic notifies the National Panhellenic Association that they are open for a new chapter. Any NPC sorority that isn't currently at Baylor sends an application to our Panhellenic. Baylor looks them over and invites 2-3 (usually) to make presentations. The invited groups come to campus, makes their presentations, Panhellenic votes and invites one (or two- called a stacked colonization) to colonize. Just because some DG alumni and transfer students want DG back, doesn't mean it will happen. We're a Big 10 school with a strong Greek system. Lots of groups who haven't been here before (Alpha Phi or Phi Mu for instance) would be interested.
