PSP, DSP, and DTD went inactive cause they had no members. In 2020 and 2021 there were protests against frats, and that hurt Greek lifes reputations and numbers ever since. There should be a new frat this year but I don’t know if there gonna be part of IFC. ASP was kicked off of EMU’s campus following there lawsuit in 2021. ASP and DTD were involved in some SA cases but DTD complied with the restorative measures EMU imposed (SA awareness training, alcohol safety training, etc) while ASP chose not to, if they didn’t decide to disaffiliate from Eastern themselves they would’ve been kicked off for not doing those. So technically they are not an EMU frat and cant be part of IFC, and cant recruit on EMUs campus. This means they don’t have to follow the safety rules eastern sets like having sober brothers at parties that the other frats do. Just be careful at there parties cause there are always a lot of guns and creeps. So that leaves TKE and Theta Chi in IFC, maybe the new frat. TKE doesn’t have a good history either though and theyre numbers are low right now to.
