What you see in these Recruitment videos is edited down to show the prettiest, most fun girls. And, how you feel is totally subjective of the type of girls you think you'd fit in with. What you see is not always what you get. The only way to know where you will fit is through Recruitment. Certain sororities may have the prettiest of girls but still come off as vapid and fake. Certain sororities may have mostly pretty girls but come off as some of the most down to earth girls you'll ever meet. You have to figure out where you connect the best. Each day you can have a different favorite sorority. While some girls who are bid membership to top tier sororities stay in it for some status but go against their gut feeling, other girls are ok being mid-tier as there is always room for improvement. Do you want fake-it-till-you-make-it friends where you feel like you can't be yourself? Do you want friends you can let your hair down and share everything with, even your deepest secrets that can be held against you? Are you ok being around utter perfectionists where you internally feel you may never match up? College is a new, clean slate to become whatever you wish. You can create a persona that is the real you underneath but was kept under wraps for fear of being a social outcast in high school. You have 13 years of reputation to live down in high school. God forbid you change amongst your peers. College is your fresh start. Weigh the pros and cons between sororities. It is my best advice
