Accept your bid and give them a chance! There are many nice girls in DG. You will surely make some really good friends if you give yourself the opportunity. At the end of rush not everyone gets a bid exactly where they wanted. You might even be separated from your freshman friend group. However, there are fun and nice girls in EVERY sorority. Please stop worrying about hierarchy and reputation. Go meet some new people. You don't have to be best friends with everyone in your sorority. You just have to click with a few girls---and this can be done in ANY sorority. If you give the process a chance, you will find in a few months that you made many new friends who "will always have your back." And you don't have to give up your current friends---with a bit of effort you can maintain some of those relationships too. With regard to mixers, you will have fun! Again, stop worrying about reputation or stereotypes. I really dislike categorizing but, if I must, DG mixes with the fraternities labeled as mid tier frats. You will hopefully soon learn that there are nice and fun guys in EVERY fraternity. But if you don't accept your DG bid you will never come to learn all this. Good luck.
