To say that wealth is not a major factor for greek division is absolutely ridiculous. Ideally, it doesn't matter, but you can see clearly class distinctions in every different frat or sorority. Sure, there are wealthy people even in bottom tier groups, but for a large portion of what it is, it is very much divided. Notice how everyone in AdPhi has multi-millionaire parents? KSig has just about wealthy families? Pike hardly has many wealthy or any super wealthy families? You can't be oblivious to the obvious distinctions, not only that - you are clearly blind to what Duke is and living in your own ideals. It doesn't define you, sure, but let's face it, it's the reason everyone in AdPhi is rich and so on - you can't possibly deny that. It doesn't matter if they use it as a talking point, it's what the frats and sororities pay attention to in top groups. Good on them for not using it as a talking point, but you can't deny that the frats themselves are looking for that in top groups.
