Honestly forget about the imaginary tier system for a second and this is the reality: it's harder to go out and drink when you're a GDI. You can still have fun if you're a social person (especially if you're an attractive girl), but it's much harder. Especially at a school like Duke, where people who like to drink and socialize tend to self-select into Greek life.
