I don't have the inside knowledge you have but I just don't believe it. Who wants to be a 100 man fraternity at FSU? Look at the fall 2015 IFC grade reports. The 100 man chapters are Beta, AEPi, SAE and Kappa Sig. There's nothing wrong with them but they're not competitive. There are a dozen fraternities a lot bigger and more influential than any of those. LXA was a great fraternity, as good as anyone back in the day with great alumni and a string of championships. I would have been a LXA but they were gone when I got here. I can't believe the're willing to piss that tradition away. If you've ever been great why would you want to be mediocre? No offense to anyone previously mentioned.
