There's the right way, which will probably get you nothing in return for your honesty. And there's the wrong way, which will probably result in you getting what you want. I know of only one national fraternity which will allow dis-affiliated members of another fraternity to join theirs. Doesn't mater which one, because its up to the local chapter and the chances of you being offered a bid to any fraternity after you tell them that you were initiated into another fraternity somewhere else is poor. Keep your mouth shut, keep your head down and move through rush just like anyone else. If someone asks you if you were in a fraternity at (ole miss) just say you pledged but were not initiated. No one will ask. No, it's not honest but I don't think anyone here will challenge the truth of what I'm saying.
