<strong>Subject:</strong><br />fraternity question<br /><br /> Poster Message:
So here's a particular question, a friend of mine transferred to ole miss and rushed spring of his sophomore year. He had been a member of xyz frat (sigma pi maybe) his whole freshman year before he transferred, but dropped them bc they didn't do formal pledging. Since they didn't do formal pledging, xyz initiated him immediately after he got a bid his first semester and he didn't get the chance to drop like a normal pledge would, so he decided to disassociate, transfer, and rush again. Xyz released him and allowed him to rush again bc he was transferring. I've already disassociated mine and considering doing the same after I transfer FSU. Of course I'd explain the whole situation beforehand, but opinions on whether fraternities would have an issue with this or not?
