If I did not like my outcome of rush fall '15 as a freshman and chose to release myself, thinking that I would rerush as a sophomore next ball… Are you saying, I shouldn't bother…because the outcome will be worse. The first time around, I had no idea how competitive the process would be... I felt confident, I have a great gpa 3.9/4.8 weighted, cheered varsity cheer all 4 years, homecoming court 3 years, and involved in many other ways during HS - I went into recruitment with a fairly open mind, there where 12 sororities that I thought I would like to be a part of .... I was dropped by 14 houses, including the 12 I originally liked... I was extremely upset and took it personally ... I know understand that there were hundreds of girls just like me and that it was hard to stand out in a group of over 2000 girls . Also, I am from out of state, I didn't know anyone in any sorority, I thought that if I took a year, became involved in other organizations and made some friends involved in Greek life that I may have a better outcome.
