What this means is that of the three houses she choose her first 2 did not rank her high enough to get a bid but the 3 rd house did. If she had left out the third house she may not have gotten a bid at all. The other houses just did not feel she was a good enough for. The only reason that house showed back up is because out of the others on her list no one ranked her high enough or voted for her, at which point the non wanted house ranked her high enough that they used it to fill in the empty hole. This happens all the time and I coach moms to encourage the girls to try it till initiation. Every single person I know in this same situation grew to love and make friends in the sorority. It is a tough process and many girls got cut completely so she should be very happy someone wanted her and gave her a bid, because the reality is the other ones did not want her. So would you rather be with a group of girls that wanted or ones that don't.
