This may sound ignorant but I genuinely don't know much about sororities and am interested in joining one, but I don't at all fit the stereotype. I would be classified as more of a hipster, and I'm just wondering if it's worth looking into or if you think I would better enjoy something else. From looking at greeklife websites it seems like the girls are mostly preppy with similar styles and such. I don't want to go through rush if I'm not wanted there, so I was just looking for some honest feedback.
